The 5th German Cancer Research Congress will take place on October 25-27, 2027 at the DKFZ in Heidelberg
The German Cancer Research Congress (GCRC), held every two years at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg and is a flagship congress showcasing the latest advancements in cancer research in Germany.
The German Cancer Research Congress is jointly organized by the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the German Cancer Aid, and the German Cancer Society, together with its oncological networks and translational partners across Germany, the Comprehensive Cancer Centers (CCC-Netzwerk), the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT), and the Division of Experimental Cancer Research (AEK). With the congress the partners contribute to the aims of the National Decade Against Cancer.
This congress serves as a central platform in Germany, bringing together experts from diverse scientific disciplines in cancer research to exchange insights, discoveries, and breakthroughs. It spans the entire spectrum of research, from basic science and preclinical investigations to clinical applications.
