Collaborating Across Institutions: Effective Communication in Interdisciplinary Research Networks
Online Workshop: September 07, 3-5 pm
Trainer: Robert Kötter (21skills)
The German Centers for Health Research (DZG) bring together researchers from different institutions, disciplines, and locations to address complex health challenges. While this network structure creates unique opportunities for innovation, it also requires effective communication, collaboration, and relationship-building across organizational and disciplinary boundaries.
In this interactive two-hour online workshop with expert Robert Koetter (TwentyOne Skills), participants will explore practical strategies for building productive collaborations in distributed research networks. The session will cover how to communicate across different disciplinary perspectives, prevent and resolve misunderstandings, navigate conflicts constructively, and develop stronger professional networks within the DZG community. Through practical examples and interactive exercises, participants will gain tools they can immediately apply to foster more effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
