Start of new DZG-wide seminar series “Computational Topics in Biomedicine"
Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to welcome you to our new DZG-wide seminar series titled “Computational Topics in Biomedicine". This series is designed to bring together data science and AI initiatives across the German Centers for Health Research DZG and to interact with international speakers who have generated impressive contributions to the translational application of AI and data science.
For our inaugural seminar, we are excited to host Sarah Teichmann (Cambridge Stem Cell Institute & Department of Medicine, Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre). Professor Teichmann is a global pioneer in scaling single-cell genomics to study human health and disease, most notably as a co-founder of the Human Cell Atlas, a global grassroots initiative with more than 4,000 members.
Please join us for her talk “Mapping the Human Body One Cell at a Time”, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
Everyone interested is welcome!
Is there a speaker you would like to hear in this series? We welcome your suggestions - please feel free to contact us at datalungschool@dzl.de
Best wishes
